Communion to the Sick
Extraordinary ministers visit private homes, nursing homes, and other living facilities, bringing Holy Communion to parishioners who are unable to attend Mass due to illness or age.
Are you wanting to bring Holy Communion to the Sick?

Those who take the Eucharist to the sick and homebound on more than a short-term basis, needs to be commissioned as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, the same as we do with persons who distribute the Eucharist at Mass. Training is available. Please contact Jennifer Zwiers,jzwiers@stjohnpaulii.org, if you are interested in bringing Holy Communion to the sick and/or need training.
