Our parish family children will have an opportunity to practice the three pillars of Lent — prayer, fasting and almsgiving — through our “Pray 40” Project. Each week will feature one pillar along with a set of daily challenges based on grade level.

LET'S GET READY FOR EASTER
Guide booklets for the Pray 40 Project will be distributed to students of BLS and those enrolled in our Parish School of Religion (PSR). All other families may download printable booklets using the links below.
Collection boxes will be placed in classrooms where BLS and PSR students may donate white towels throughout the week. On Friday of each week, homeroom students will count the towels and record the total collected. Towels will be picked up weekly by the Director of Care and this webpage will be updated to show which grade levels are leading the friendly competition, on our way to a combined goal of 1,000 towels!
BLS and PSR teachers may select specific challenges to complete as a class. We’ll post photos here as the project progresses. Parents can send photos taken at home to ewright@stjohnpaulii.org.
